Land Acknowledgment

We acknowledge that The Feminist Conversations is located on the unceded, unsurrendered territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe Nation, who have been the traditional caretakers of this land since time immemorial. We recognize and respect the enduring relationship between the Algonquin people and this territory. We honour their continued presence and contributions, and we commit to learning from their knowledge, laws, and perspectives. As we gather, we reflect on our shared responsibilities to truth, reconciliation, and decolonization. We understand that land acknowledgments are only one step in this journey. We are dedicated to pairing our words with actions by building relationships, uplifting Indigenous voices, and supporting community-led change.
